I bought this as a gift for a mom-to-be, she absolutely loved it, it is so soft and very cute. I believe this little sheep would be perfect for both a boy or a girl. I thought it would be an actual blanket, because I am not a mom and do not know the term comfort blanket, so it is much smaller and therefore suited to comfort a little one.
